Kettlebell Farmers Lunge

To complete the farmers lunge correctly see the video and description below.

  1. Take a weight implement in each hand.  Square the shoulders and contract the core to ensure great posture throughout the movement.
  2. Lunge forward with one leg until the front thigh is parallel to the floor.
  3. Stand up and lunge forward with the opposite leg.
  4. As you lunge forward ensure good positioning by making sure the knee is always positioned over the ankle when in the lunge position.  When you go to stand up, push your weight up through the heel to engage the glutes.
